Electrical Panel Upgrades

We Can Help!
The electrical service panel is one of the most important pieces of equipment in your home or business – and one of the most frequently taken for granted.
Over 70% of electrical panels in residences need to be upgraded: Older houses didn’t use as much electricity when they were first built, since there wasn’t such heavy usage of appliances, air conditioners, or electronic equipment.
Homes built in the ’50s don’t even have grounded receptacles, which is a huge fire risk.
Homes built in the ’40s were wired with aluminum due to the lack of copper caused by the war; insurance companies will not cover homes against fire, if these homes have aluminum or nob and tube wiring. In these older homes, breakers or fuses, which is most common in homes without any upgrades over the years, these old service panels don’t even trip the breakers if you have any, which can lead to electrical fires…Don’t you think it might be time for an upgrade?
Without An Upgrade Of Your Electrical Panel You May Put Your House In Risk Of Fire
The average home panel in the USA, in the best of cases, have only 100AMPs services.
New building codes, in bigger cities, require 200 AMPS service for the average dwelling.
So that means that no matter how good your panel looks, chances are, that you are living in the standards set in the 70’s! Crazy huh?
Technology has made our lives easier, but without the upgrade of your electrical panel, it has also made our lives more dangerous.
